They have greatly improved this location over the past year and that has helped tremendously. The manager works amazingly hard and even mops the floors, leads by example. Of in general nationwide needs better TV and some updates but it gets the job done for most gym fanatics.
Biggest complain I have in general of PF is despite it openly being a novice gym, there's never a trainer walking around to aid newcomers. You see lots of incredibly dangerous form and technique all over.
Pros: 5 smith machines, more than most locations. They have stability balls in the stretch/ab area. I kinda dig the low lighting; fluorescent light sucks but at least it's dim. Many PFs have the AC cranked up too high, so it's difficult to get a good sweat going on. This one does not which is a plus. There's paper towels in the ladies locker room, most PFs only have hand dryers. Annoying when you want to rinse the sweat off your face
Their a great gym just a little dark in there it would be much better if it was brighter with the lighting, I go here once and a while
Same quality and vibe as most other PF's. Slightly larger than most of the others in the area. Clean and well maintained.
Not normally my type of gym, but it's the only 24/7 club anywhere around. For $10 a month it's worth keeping when my regular gym closes early (Fusion in Voorhees).
Cons: Old/broken equipment. Much of the machines could use an upgrade or some wd40. Not enough weight plates for the smith machines- had to go searching for a couple 10s. The floor in the locker rooms is sticky, especially right after mopping. Really gross feeling.. Staff isn't the best.
Its an African American older guy , who usually does that night shift , Who has poor customer service & a nasty attitude ..Ill recommend any othe plant fitness beside Blackwood nj
